Harmful Sexual Behaviour between Siblings (HSB-S) – Introduction

Harmful sexual behaviour between siblings is now understood to be the most common form of intrafamilial abuse. Three times more likely to occur than parent to child abuse and the impact being just as severe if not worse than adult to child abuse. This is a crisis that effects the whole family and therefore requires a systemic as well as trauma-informed approach.

AIM and Dr Jeyda Ibrahim are really pleased that after 3 years of working on this guidance, we are finally ready to share it with everyone and offer a two day training package which includes a copy of the guidance book!

This podcast provides an introduction to the guidance.  We are really excited to share this guidance and training with you all and in doing so feel hopeful that we can support families to heal and move on from this crisis together.
